I have been here a few times with the family and each time has been on point! The Staff have been friendly and patient (some in party took some time to order) and once we got our food it came out great! The chicken was well seasoned and tender, the daves sauce complimented the seasoning. The environment is vibrant, beautiful. Also, peanut/treenut safe! This is now a staple for us!
Great location for lunch if you are visiting ND campus. You can see the stadium from the restaurant. There’s a nice gift shop next store you can walk through after you eat to get a good souvenir. There’s chicken is absolutely delicious.
Son wanted to take me to a different place, well I was impressed. I got the medium not knowing if it's medium was another person's hot. I regularly eat Mango Habernero and that is a good heat for myself. If that's you, Medium is not hot at all... Tastes good just warm though like a cinnamon candy would be. They do not let you sample the rubs to judge the heat before, but the serving size was excellent and fries were good also . If you haven't been here, try it. Just not on game day. It would be a walk. Maybe they need to open in South Goshen by where the Wendy's was going to open.
I love their Dave hot chicken NOT chicken mild cauliflower wings. Please do not get rid of these, I absolutely love them. We also orders the tenders and sliders and my entire family devoured them. Food is always fresh and delicious.
Busy but delicious hot chicken. I got the slider with fries combo with extra Dave sauce. I went for the hot spice level, which was exactly what I was looking for with a hot chicken sandwich. The spice was balanced out by the slaw and the cheese that I got on the sandwich, the fries were crispy even though I ate them about 15 minutes after leaving, and the Dave sauce tied everything together really really well. I stopped in during mid-afternoon, almost 4:00. I'm not sure what I was expecting for a crowd but there was a line when I was there and many more came in after me. There was also steady in and out with pickups. Even though they were busy, the service was friendly, and they were getting orders out pretty efficiently and quickly. I only waited about 10 minutes for my food and it was delivered hot and fresh. I had made a mistake when I ordered, saying that I wanted it for dine in, and they quickly were able to package it up to go. Delicious, excellent service, worth the wait. Going to be coming back often!

Even tho they were super busy before a big ND game they were quick and got my order 100% correct. The food was great and so was the service. The bathrooms were even spotless!
We really enjoyed the chicken tenders and fries. And whatever "Dave's sauce" is, I want to put it on everything! Lol I ordered the "hot" spice level, and my husband got the "no spice." The chicken was cooked perfectly, and the size of them was very generous. I didn't even finish my second one. We ordered an extra side of fries, but honestly, we could have done without it. We left with full and happy bellies! The staff was very friendly and helpful. My only small complaint, and why there are only 4 stars for atmosphere, is because the house music was LOUD. It was definitely up too high for a calm afternoon setting. But, I would definitely come back again. Thank you!
This is one of my favorite spots in the Notre Dame area. The chicken is amazing. The service is spectacular and the manager and front desk cashiers are always super polite, friendly and helpful. This is one of the best spots you can go to in the area five stars.
I recently visited Dave’s Hot Chicken and had an amazing experience! The food was absolutely impressive — full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and lived up to the hype. The spice levels were just right, and every bite was delicious. A special mention to Cecilia, who was kind, attentive, and had such a pleasant nature. Her friendly service made the experience even better. Definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone who loves great food and excellent service!
